Written in ink in a legible hand on blue gray paper. 10" x 7.75" 2pp In part: "We have frequent inquiries for small plaids in medium colors, and it has occurred to us that you might reprint the three patterns enclosed [not present], in colors suited to Spring trade, viz Drabs in various shades, Browns, &c. We also enclose some samples of plaids [not present] made by the American Works, which are very good; the entire Style was taken by one house.
