This book contains lyrics, melody lines, piano accompaniment, guitar chords and frames to 29 songs. Included are: God's Radio; I'll Never Get Drunk Any More; In the Valley of Kentucky; Shake Hands with Mother Again; &c. Asher and his son were natives of the Kentucky mountains when "Mother" encouraged them to start their radio career, offering listeners a "clean, entertaining and uplifting" program. Many of the songs, written by guitarist Asher, are of a regional nature. Also present are mountain folk songs and hymns. Illustrated by 2 photo-illus in text. First Edition.
