Slight sunning to the spine, and a few minor spots, but an uncommonly fine copy of the uncommon first edition. With two engraved plates. Letters written by a blind woman who went from being a bride to, a widow and blinded all within one month. Gives some insights into being blind in mid-century America.

Book VG with mild wear to spine ends and corners, rubbing, binding tight, text has some foxing throughout and on edges of text block. No DJ.
