Near fine, oversized (9 by 11 approx.) red cloth hardcover is inscribed on the title page "To - Jerome Peltier - With best wishes - John C. Ewers" shows a previous owner name (Peltier) in pencil to front endpaper and some other light shelf and trace wear, in very good + dust jacket (price at flap) that shows bit of soil and edgewear that includes a tiny open chip at spine head. 240 pages illustrated in color and black & white. Remains an attractive copy of this look at some of the greats such as Russell, Remington, Bierstadt, Miller, Catlin and others.
