London: John Lane the Bodley Head, 1934. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good /No Jacket. First edition. Lacking dust jacket. Owner's signature on front end paper. Frontispiece copy of drawing in toned red medium of Powys's profile. Light underlining and marginalia on a majority of the pages in graphite. Very light foxing on the edges of some pages and heavier foxing on the front pages and fly page. 652 pp. Top edge of pages is a light red color but has white spotting/discoloration. Cover boards with brown publisher's cloth and gilt lettering. There is a very small hole near the bottom of the spine and there is some very light rubbing along the edges of the cover. Overall very good condition. Full refund if not satisfied.
