This book was produced from the private press of Hazel Dreis who built a successful business working in San Francisco with the Grabbhorn Press. They both produced some of the most beautiful and interesting one of a kind bookbindings before they ventured into printing themselves. In a description by Heinz ...": Navajo sand paintings are the subject of this book. The author was a client of Wright in 1941 for an unbuilt project in Tucson. She and her husband were friends of Wright for many years in Oak Park and Scottsdale. Husband Rudolph Schevill died just before this book was published (1874-1946). There are several original works of art throughout the book in silkscreen method showing these sand paintings." A nice copy.
