Text tight, clean & intact. Fold out table illustrations. French text. Created in 1776 as the "Bibliothèque Britannique", it was intended to provide the scholars and men of letters of Europe with French excerpts of scientific and literary publications from the British Isles. In 1816, after the fall of Napoleon, the periodical became the "Bibliothèque Universelle" & added this specialty journal focused on the latest innovations in Anglo-French agriculture. ; Tables; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 298 pages .
