A second thriller set in South Africa by the author whose first The Steam Pig won the Crime Writers' Award for the best crime novel of 1971. James Howe McClure (9 October 1939, Johannesburg, South Africa 17 June 2006, Oxford, England) was a British author and journalist best known for his Kramer and Zondi mysteries set in South Africa. In a red cloth binding with gilt lettering to the spine in a clipped dustwrapper in an acetate protective covering. Externally, smart with just minor shelfwear. Dustwrapper is smart with just minor edgewear. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. There is a bookeseller's label to the front pastedown. Near Fine
