A copy of the Chatterbox bound annual from 1896.Chatterbox was founded in 1866 by John Erskine Clark and was one of the most popular magazines for children in Britain and America and was issued weekly. Chatterbox offered a collection of short stories, articles and serialized tales. This volume includes eleven colour plates, including a colour frontispiece. Collated, complete. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, very smart with some bumping to the head and tail of the spine and a few marks to the boards. Front hinge is starting and frontispiece is loosening but remains bound. Internally, generally firmly bound with bright and clean page. Very Good
