Boston and New York: Houghton, Mifflin and Company, 1899. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. 12mo. 862 pages, indexed. Hardcover bound in blue cloth with cover design in gilt. There is moderate wear to the binding. Covers are rubbed. Edges are bumped and just slightly beginning to fray. Outer edges of the text block are toned. Upper edge is gilt. The text is generally clean, but one of the pages has an old cellophane tape repair at the top edge which has browned.
