Fascinating accounts of life in the woods and lumber camps of northwest Michigan during logging's peak years that were recorded and transcribed by this husband and wife team. Uncommon. White printed wrappers with white cover lettering on a green background. A nice clean, tight and unmarked book with no interior or exterior markings. This may be a first edition--the number string on the verso of the title page begins with "2." Small bookshop sticker on lower corner of rear cover. There is a quarter inch closed tear to top rear edge of spine.; B&W Photographs & Illustrations; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 149 pages .
