London: Longmans Green, 1890. Revised and enlarged thirteenth edition, translated and edited from Ganot's Elements de Physique. Black covers with blind-stamped rules and emblem on front board and gilt lettering and rules on spine, 1084pp with nine coloured plates and 987 woodcuts. Brown endpapers and tissue-guarded frontis of Table of Spectra. Extremities rubbed and bumped (paricularly corners), previous owner's sticker on ffep, front hinge starting to weaken and there are a couple of very small marks on page edges. Foxing to prelims and occasional marginalia and underling. But overall text bloc is clean and tight and it's a very reasonable copy. Heavy book may require extra postage. Ref:082318. Thirteenth Edition. Cloth. VG-/N/a. 14x21cm.
