About This Item
Paulownia Press, 2007. Soft cover. Fine. Signed & inscribed on the dedication page by the author as follows: "For Lee Estes-/Thank you for keeping/Porky's memory alive,/With respect and/gratitude,/ Gregory Hadley/". A 160 page work of 15 chapters, an epilogue, and an index. This book provides a good case study of what typically happened to B-29 crewmen shot down over Japan during world War II, it is also a forbidding reminder pf what is played out in today's wars, when military personnel fall into the waiting arms of frightened, angry citizens. On the back cover is a indication that a sticker of some sort may have been removed. Book is clean, tight and bright. There is no creasing on the spine. A very nice copy of a rather scarce signed work. Available for immediate shipment, carefully packed in a sturdy box!
