Octavo, [8], 530pp. Full brown morocco, title in gilt on spine with five raised bands and gilt compartments. Top edge gilt, ornate gilt turn-ins, and marbled endpapers. Bound by Zaehnsdorf of London with binder's imprint to front endpaper. Solid text block, touch of toning along fore edge, otherwise fine example. Previous ownership stamp to front flyleaf. A beautifully bound piece. First published in 1830 by Henry Colburn and Richard Bentley of London, printed in four volumes.
