NY: Random House, 1972. Book. Fine. Hardcover. 1st Edition. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. The man who made the President's visit to China possible, distinguished chronicler of the Chinese revolution and the acknowledged Western expert on Chinese affairs author of Red Star Over China and Red China Today: The Other Side of the River. This first edition 3rd printing book is in fine condition with no noticeable wear or damage. The binding is tight, and the interior pages are clean and unmarked. Boards are maroon with author's initials in silver gilt, and title, author, publisher, in gold gilt on spine. Both front and back inside boards reflect illustrations of China and adjacent countries in black on light copper brown paper. The jacket is in great shape with only minimal rubbing wear and slight discoloration along the book edges. Dj not price clipped. Dj encased in Brodart book protector. Images available upon request..
