Montana Christmas is the fourth book in the Made In Montana series by American author, Jackie Merritt. While the identity of the mystery woman has finally been revealed to be Andrea Dillon, Charlie Fanon’s second daughter, and her presence in Rocky Ford has been explained, everything is far from clear. Andrea is living next door to Lucas Wilde, and when his recently divorced son, Dr Shepler Wilde turns up, Andrea is stunned by the attraction she feels for this brooding man. Despite his own attraction, Shep has vowed not to get involved with a woman again, and anyway, there’s something not quite right about Andrea. But on New Year’s Eve, something between them explodes, with predictable results. Merritt manages to pack quite a bit into the last of this series, including a family reunion, a snowstorm, the threatened closing of the local newspaper and a sweet romance. An enjoyable finale to the series.
