Steve Tomecek, a.k.a. the "Dirtmeister," is a well-known science educator and author who leads science workshops for teachers and students all over the country. He is the author of the award-winning Bouncing & Bending Light and Simple Attractions (W. H. Freeman), as well as Teaching Electricity -- Yes You Can! (Scholastic). Steve lives in New York.
