Boston: Ginn & Company. Very Good. 1905. First Edition. Hardcover. 390 p. 20 cm. Sound and square binding in cloth-covered boards, with gilt and paint stamped titles and illustration. Some signatures open widely. Top edge gilt. A little wear to the corners and spine ends. Partial remains of a label on the front endpaper. Inside pages and plates are overall clean and unmarked, with an occasional smudge mark. The author describes his experiences with the animals of Labrador and Newfoundland. Illustrated with black and white plates and drawings. May require extra postage due to weight of book. .
