Clean pages with noticeable tanning and foxing throughout. Tightly bound with faint thumb marking throughout. Heavier tanning to free endpapers. Pen and pencil inscription and markings to front free endpaper. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces and bumping to corners. Slight crushing to spine ends. Lettering is bright and clear. Minor wear marks to boards. Unclipped Jacket. Panels and spine have moderate edgewear with tears and creases. Moderate tanning to interior flaps, panels and spine. Visible wear marks to spine and panels. Price sticker to panel.

Moderate foxing and tanning to pages with heavier foxing and tanning to pastedowns and endpapers. Pencil inscriptions to front endpaper and heavier tanning to text block edges. Both hinges are cracked with exposed netting and cracks to guttering with exposed netting. Boards have minor rubbing and heavier bumping to corners. Fair crushing to spine ends and light rubbing to spine.

London: John Murray, 1930. Leatherbound hardcover without dust jacket, in good condtion for its age. Light scoring and scuffing to the boards, and creasing at the spine ends. Board corners are bowed and the spine is cocked. Page block is discoloured, and previous owner's names are penned to the front pastedown and FEP respectively. Pages and text are otherwise clean and unmarked throughout. LW. leather. Good/No Dust Jacket. Used.

Book is in nearly fine condition with only slightest signs of wear and/or age. BUT edges bit spotted. Dustwrapper/dustjacket is in very good minus condition with minor but noticeable signs of wear and/or age. Entire dw is a bit marked. . 1st Thus. Hardback. VG+/G++ DW.
