Dark green cloth with bold and bright gilt titles on backstrap; clean and unmarked with trace rubbing of some edges; upper rear edge cloth is wrinkled right along edge for about an inch; faint indentation to spine an inch down from the spine head; binding tight and square, corners sharp. Internals as new. Glossy illustrated jacket has light wrinkling to spine head and heel and a small nick to lower front corner. Sir Thomas Malory (1405 - 1471) collected all the ancient tales of the mythical Arthur and published them under the title Le Morte D'Arthur, becoming the definitive account of the Arthurian legends.
