Paris: Alyscamps Press, 1994. Fine paperback copy with near fine dust jacket/wrapper (light scuffs on back panel). The Carrefour Press was founded in 1930 by a Lithuanian-born expatriate Michael Fraenkel and an American poet Walter Lowenfels. Of all the Paris-based presses founded by expatriates after World War I, this is the sole survivor. 120 pages, including copies of original correspondence and press releases, bibliography of Carrefour Press publications, and a beautiful cover painting by Dapne Fraenkel.. 1st Edition. Soft Cover.
