HC 1st edition. Snugly bound, bright and very neat in original brick red cloth with titles and decorative pictorial design to cover and spine in a combination of gilt and blind; top edge gilt. The book designer's monogram embedded in the design. Just superficial shelf evidence to cloth at tips. Usual general toning to the first two pages from offset of the coated endsheets. Illustrated with reproduction of photographs, figures and musical notation. Issued in the Music Story series. VG++ to NF .
