The paper has darkened slightly, but there are just a few signs of previous use. The blue cloth covers are bright, with light wear at edges and corners. Synopsis: "The Fourth Form in Conellan School had always been a prickly thorn to the mistresses. When it was found necessary to alter the building, the headmistress, after considering the question of closing the school, which seemed the only way, decided to sleep all her scholars in tents in the grounds; and then commenced that turbulent term. Frequent midnight visits to a mysterious cave, and the disaster which follows one of these marauding outings, make up a series of exciting events
