Based on three Ewing Lectures given by the author at UCLA in October of 1960, the purpose being to encourage writers to speak about their art (since when has *that* been a problem?). Small octavo, blue cloth, 150 pages. Dusty/tanned edges, mild slant, faint corner/spine end wear, ink price to top right corner of front free end paper. Rubbed dust jacket w/scratches/scraping, impressions, edgewear, flaking to folds/spine edges, ink price at bottom of front flap..
