Wine colored leatherette, decorative cover (the title is surrounded by grape vines which frame a charicature of a happy vintner sitting on a barrel; all done in gold). very good condition.
A faithful reproduction of a scarce work. Shaw was originally from Scotland and had much to do with lowering the duty on wine imported to England. His writing is informative and humorous. He mentions American wines and in a prophetic remark states, "California seems better adapted for producing wine."
