New York: Random House, 1967 Gift inscription on ffep; otherwise clean and tight with some light bumping to the corners. Nearly as-new.

New York: Alfred A. Knopf , 1959 Second printing of the second edition. Clean, good binding, hinges a bit loose but not cracked. Some mild cover wear.

Englewood Cliffs, NJ: Prentice-Hall, 1955 Well cared for, small stamp on ffep with previous owner's name. Clean, good binding, light wear to ends of spine and corners. The jacket, not price-clipped (3.95) with chipping, but back piece of jacket is missing.

New York and London: Harper and Brothers, 1944 Scarce, collectible children's book in unclipped dust jacket ($1.50). Book is very clean, some wear to edges and corners of the cover, top of spine piece is loosening. Chipping and wear to the jacket. Well cared for.

New York: Grosset & Dunlap, 1950 Very clean, good binding, some cover wear.

New York: Grosset & Dunlap, 1905 Previous owner's name inside front board, ffep has been removed. Binding is loose but attached, pages tanned from age, some rubbing and wear to the cover. This antique book is in overall good condition

New York: The Dial Press, Inc, 1970 1st Printing, stated. Previous library book with residue of pocket on front and rear fep; small stamp on title page appears to have been whited out by prior owner. Light edge and end of spine wear to the cover. Overall a nice copy.

New York: Random House, 2001 Stated First Edition; ex-library with a couple of stamps, ffep removed. Apparently never checked out though--clean and tight, appears unread. Jacket has been protected.

New York: Penguin Press, 2004 Interior is clean and tight, appears unread; some rubbing and chipping to the jacket, small spot where sticker was removed by previous owner.

New York: American Book Company, 1910 Previous owner has written her name in pencil on ffep, dated 1911; otherwise clean, good binding, light soiling and bumping to boards. Nice antique children's book.

Boston: John W. Luce Company Clean interior, mild fading and rubbing to the cover.

London: Edward Stanford Ltd., 1931 Linen backed color folding maps in blue boards with pastedown on front. 2 maps--one the Thames Estuary, and also foldout annotated color map of the River Thames. Light cover wear to the edges, overall in very good conditions, no Boards a little worn but map in good condition without tears.

New York: Mitchell Kennerley, 1915 Clean interior, mild cover wear, front hinge loosening, blue cover with gilt title spine discolored.

Boston: John W. Luce Company Very light moisture stain along edges of first few pages; clean interior, hinges loosening, spine cracked one inch along top.

New York: The Viking Press, 1960 Very clean and tight, appears unread, pages are tanned. Soiling and chipping to the jacket.

London: Macmillan and Co., Limited, 1920 Beautiful maroon leather with gilt decoration; interior is clean, but spine has cracked and needs repair, loose where cracked. Worth repairing this antique little book

New York: Grosset & Dunlap, 1940 Rubbing and cover wear, interior is clean and binding is good. Some tanning and soiling to the boards.

New York: Knopf, 2007 Stated First Edition, ex-library with a couple of stamps, ffep removed. Otherwise very clean and tight, appears unread, dust jacket has been protected and is very good.

London: William Heinemann, 1898 Previous owner's bookplate inside front board with note "believes this to be the first issue." Interior is clean, rough page edges are tanned.
