New York: Harper Collins, 1974 This wonderful book has clean interior, binding is good, some rubbing and fading to the cover. Previous owner's name on ffep has been whitened out by a previous owner.

New York: Hurst & Co, 1890 Arlington Edition, some soiling and wear to this antique book. Pages are very tanned and fragile. Both hinges are cracked and loosening but attached. Brief gift inscription on ffep.

New York: Harper & Row, 1922 Ex-library markings, cleaned up by a prior owner. Front hinge is loosening, some chipping to the jacket. A very nice reading copy.

Baltimore, MD: Johns Hopkins University Press, 1987 Clean interior, but with the book closed there is the shadow of a stain visible on edges. No markings, some mild wear to the cover. A very good reading copy.

New York: Simon & Schuster, 2003 Some mild wear to the edges of the un-clipped dust jacket, light soiling to edges of pages. Otherwise clean and tight.

Cambridge: Deighton, Bell, and Co. , 1865 Lovely little antique book, blue leather boards, gilt edges. Front board is loose and there is some rubbing and wear to the leather. Otherwise very well cared for.
