With a chapter on Benedict Arnold and his role in the American Revolution, "Arnold's Treason", as well as "Salem Witchcraft" and "Alexander Selkirk", the tale of a sailor marooned in the South Pacific which may have served as the inspiration for 'Robinson Crusoe'.

16mo, 320 pp, b&w woodcut illustrations. Three quarter brown leather and marbled boards. Spine quite rubbed; internally very good condition.
