Blue cloth boards with yellow and red illustration of Dick and Jane on the front; yellow and red spine titles; bevelled corners. Binding is tight and square with very light wear to boards; moderate rubbing to bevelled corners, tail and head of spine; colors remain bright. Contents have very light wear and are clean, bright and without marks; 3 pages each have a tiny closed tear and tiny chip to either top or bottom edge of page. A very collectible copy.
Note: This edition was copyrighted in 1947 and is known as the second series entered as: "Fun with Dick and Jane -A Revision of the Elson-Gray Basic Readers" ; in 1956 this edition was replaced by the third series copyrighted as "The New Fun with Dick and Jane".
