INSCRIBED ON TITLE PAGE BY BOTH AUTHOR AND ILLUSTRATOR, "For John, Let your dreams take flight! Nikki Grimes, 2003, Toronto" and "To: John ~ follow your passion! E. B. Lewis, 2003." 4to slender, glossy, pictorial boards; unpaginated. In dust jacket with 2 "Coretta Scott King Award" stickers -- silver for "Honor" and gold for "winner." Upper board corners crimped otherwise bright and fine; in near fine to fine dust jacket with just a mild rumple to upper edge rear panel.
