About This Item
Garden City, NY: Doubleday, Page & Company, 1927. First Edition. First edition, first printing. Bound in publisher's black cloth with orange paper labels to front and spine. Fine, small scuff to front label; a very sharp and clean copy in a Fine second issue dust jacket (publisher merged with George H. Doran in the year of publication and the foot of the jacket reads "doubleday doran") that is very bright and unworn despite its age, just a little rubbed, unclipped (priced at "two dollars net"). Remarkable condition. A lovely copy of the collection of beloved satirical poems about a cockroach and an alley cat.
