"(A) re-statement and assessment of an outstanding episode in the history of Portsmouth and of the British Navy.", when seamen fought for better pay and rations, and also to "be treated like human beings". Interior - previous owner's small stamp on inside of front cover and on first page, tiny crease at top/bottom corner of pages, light browning to the gutters and edges of the pages, otherwise clean and tight with no other ownership marks. Exterior - very small crease at corners of covers, light rubbing on rear cover, minor edge wear.. Not Signed. Soft Cover. Very Good.
