London: David Nutt, 1912, vii, 348 p. front., plates, ports., fold. map, fold plan, facsims. A handsome book in red cloth with gilt lettering on spine and front cover panel, illustrations in black on spine and cover panel. The book is in very good, clean, bright condition, lower right bottom corner was bumped causing some wrinkling to cloth. The spine is a little sun-faded.

Lane, with the regards of Sidney Painter". The book has the following detractions: the top paper edge is dusty; about 25 pages have a small ding to the side paper edge; first page of appendix (p. 131) has some offsetting from a piece of paper left in, the facing page has some toning too but it is blank anyway; pages 63 and 64 have bottom corner torn off, not affecting text. All that being said, the book is in good, clean tight condition. $25.00
