Ffirst Edition, Book Club printing. About 5 3/4 x 8 1/2 inches, 575 pages bound in yellow cloth-covered boards with black lettering on spine. Dustjacket's front panel shows part of story torn from newspaper page against black background with lettering in yellow, red and white. Back panel "Introducing Mr. Ellery Queen" outlines the phenomenal success of Queen mystery enterprise from novels to magazines to movies to television. Boards and text are complete, clean and unmarked, showing only minimal soiling and minor wear at edges, corners and spine ends. Top text edge stained yellow. Dustjacket shows only a one-inch closed tear at bottom of spine, o/w moderate edge wear with almost no damage to dj's pictorial design and graphics.
