Vintage Paperback, Popular Library 60-2128; Eberhart, a master of mystery and suspense, set this suspense-thriller in an old mansion on a former sugar plantation near New Orleans where Eric has brought his new bride to meet his family and be introduced to murder. Text edges are slightly faded, o/w text is clean and unmarked, tight, with a slight spine lean. Pictorial wrappers show mild surface and edgewear, very minimal creasing, no tears or chipping.
