Volume 44, No. 6, Whole No. 265: Contents include 2nd Part of Jack Vance's novel, "The Asutra;" a novelette, "Haggopian," by Brian Lumley; short stories by Robin Scott Wilson, Ron Goulart, Dennis Etchison, Tori Warner and Doris Pitkin Buck; poetry by Ray Bradbury ("Old Ahab's Friend"), Isaac Asimov's non-fiction science feature, "The Triumph of the Moon;" and the index for Vol. 44, Jan-June, as well as a cartoon by Gahan Wilson. About 5 1/4 x 7 1/2 inches, 162 pages, including 2 pages of ads at back, in light card wrappers with front cover color illustration by Jack Gaughan for "The Asutra." Wrappers show only very faint reading creases, very minimal surface and edge wear, no tears, chipping or bumped corners, no subscription/address label. Text edges lightly soiled, pages slightly age-tanned, o/w text is complete, clean and unmarked. No tears, creasing, or dogearred pages. A very collectable copy of this issue of one of the premier sci-fi and fantasy pulp magazines.
