About This Item
New York: Grand Central Publishing, 2017. Hardcover. Fine/Fine. The tenth novel in Turow's bestselling Kindle County legal-thriller series features lawyer Bill ten Boom walking out on his wife, career and even his country to accept an invitation to start fresh as a prosecutor for the International Criminal Court. His first assignment is to investigate a suspected war crime, the disappearance of an entire refugee camp at the end of the Bosnian War. About 6 1/2 x 9 1/4 inches, 485 pages including author's note at end. Brown paper-covered boards with black backstrip and gold lettering on spine. Pictorial dustjacket's front panel shows back of lone man running over cobblestoned road toward a distant city landscape. Dj lettering is red and white with five blurbs on back panel praising the book or author. This copy shows no discernable flaws or damage. No tears, creasings, bumping or surface wear. Not ex-library or remaindered. Not price-clipped. Clean, complete and unmarked, binding tight and square. A very collectable copy of the first Turow novel to tackle international legal issues.
