About This Item
New York: Grand Central Publishing, 2017. Hardcover. Fine/Fine. Testimony" is Turow's tenth novel in his Kindle County legal thriller series, the first in four years. It features Bill ten Boom, former prosecutor, who at age 50 has walked out on everything that used to matter to him -- his law career, his wife, his country. But when asked by the International Criminal Court to investigate and prosecute a war crime that occured during the Bosnia War, the disappearance of an entire refugee camp, he agrees to take on the job. The story of mass murder depends on the tesitmony of a single witness who very well may not be telling the whole truth. First Trade Edition, first printing (as stated, with complete numberline). About 6 1/2 x 9 1/4 inches, 483 pages including Author's Note. Brown paper-covered boards in black paper backstrip with gold lettering on spine. Pictorial dustjacket shows lone man running on a paved road out of darkness and toward a lighted city landscape. White and red lettering on front panel and spine. Dj's back panel contains five blurbs praising Turow or the novel. Both book and jacket are near perfect with no visible flaws. Not ex-library, not remaindered. Dj not price-clipped. A very collectable copy of the latest work by a master of the legal thriller.
