The ninth novel in Sandford's crime-thriller series featuring Detective Virgil Flowers of the Minnesota Bureau of Apprehension. This time he's investigating the theft of a pair of rare Amur tigers from the Minnesota Zoo, an investigation that quickly turns into a situation almost as serious as Flowers' relationship with, Frankie, his girl friend, and Frankie's sister, Sparkle. About 6 1/4 x 9 3/8 inches, 392 pages in dark blue paper-covered boards with lighter blue backstrip, blue lettering on spine and "JS" stamped in red on front cover. Dj's back panel has full-panel photo of author with single blurb of praise. Boards and text are complete, clean and unmarked, tight and square, without significant flaws. Not remaindered, not ex-library. DJ also near-perfect, undamaged, not price-clipped. A collectable copy.
