The fifth novel from the author of "A Mother's Kisses" and "The Dick," Friedman's first since the 1970s, features Mike Halsey, a mostly modern, mostly normal sort of guy who suddenly has an urge to travel and finds himself on a tumultuous tour of the "real" Japan; text is clean, tight, with a very slight spine lean. Dustjacket's lamination has begun to loosen slightly along bottom edge, o/w only minor surface and edgewear.
