Instead, Oregas is doublecrossed and forced to use his knowledge of stargates to escape, landing on Prime, a planet that is the repository of galactic history. Oregas learns of a mysterious lost race that held the master key to the stargates for all worlds. The holder of the key will have power beyond all imaginings and Oregas now sets out in search of the lost race. Paperback Original, True First Printing, First Edition. Cover art by Dean Ellis. Wrappers show only minor surface and edge wear, no tears, no chipping. Text is lightly age-tanned with a slight spine lean. Binding is tight, text clean, unmarked and complete. A quite scarce copy of this under-appreciated writer of the 1960s and '70s.
