About This Item
New York: Atheneum, 1991. First Printing, First U.S. Edition. . Hardcover. Fine/Fine. A sequel of sorts to her earlier novel, "Eva Luna," in which a young woman finds love, friendship and a modicum of success through her storytelling ability, "The Stories of Eva Luna," is a collection of 23 short stories requested by and told to her lover. The book is signed and inscribed by Allende on the half-title page, with her characteristic flower doodle, making "Happy Birthday!! To Georgeanne," a bit more personal. Boards and text are clean and unmarked, tight and square; the dustjacket shows perhaps a trace of edgewear. A collectable copy.
