About This Item
New York: Arbor House, 1987. Book Club. . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. A collection of three 1970s crime-thrillers ("The Hunted," "Swag," and "Mr. Majestyk") from Mystery Grand Master Leonard. The '70s novels were the ones that earned Leonard his reputation as "an original, a new voice in crime fiction." These three are "classic" Leonard works and easily serve as a fine introduction to his work. First Book Club Edition. 500 pages in black paper-covered boards show a touch of foxing on text edges, o/w boards and text are clean, complete, unmarked. Dust jacket shows a bit of wear at corners and edges, a single half-inch tear on lower edge of back panel. No creasing or other significant flaws. A decent, economical introduction to Leonard's work.
