This one is about Tell Sackett, brother of Tye Sackett, the Mora gunfighter. Tell had to leave Texas after killing a man in a gunfight and now, in "high, lonesome country" he's found a lode of gold. But there's a woman, and gold and women attract all kinds of men, not all of them good. Paperback original, True First Edition, First Printing. Mass Market Paperback, about 4 x 7 inches, 120 pages plus 2 pages of publisher's ads. Pictorial wrappers with front cover showing, against a yellow background, a lone man holding revolver looking down from hill to small town in distance. Two, small, light creases in upper corner of front cover, o/w only very minimal surface and edge wear. Text block edges dyed yellow. Text complete, clean and unmarked. No tears, no creasing or bumping. A collectable copy of this Sackett classic, which, along with "The Daybreakers," was the basis for a 1979 television movie starring Tom Selleck, Glen Ford, Jack Elam and Slim Pickens.
