An early World War II adventure from the author of "The Eagle Has Landed" featuring the crew and passengers of a 19th century sailing ship, the Deutschland, leaving Brazil in August, 1944, for a roundevous with destiny a month later in the Outer Hebrides off Scotland, along with a variety of other Germans, Americans and Scotsmen, all facing together a storm that has caused the war to fade into insignificance. A collectable copy.
