Vintage Paperback, Lancer 73-648; Peters is best known for her Brother Cadfaels historical mystery series but this novel, the fifth in her contemporary mystery-thriller series featuring English Police Inspector George Felse, shows equally well the craft that made her a Grand Master of the genre; the text is clean, tight, square with some age-tanning in pictorial wrappers showing only very minimal surface and edgewear. For the completist collector.
