The Hobbit or There and Back Again by Tolkien, J.R.R - 1966

Boston: Houghton Mifflin Company, 1966. Third US Edition/25th Printing. Hardcover. Good/Very Good. The 25th Printing overall from the Third US Edition which published February 1968. In pale green cloth with blue type. There is an excess of cloth to tops of both boards that obviously occured at bindery, so cloth is not tight to boards at top. Small smudge to bottom page ends and moisture stain to bottom of rear board and corner onto inside edges and bottom corner of text block - last 50 pages or so. Otherwise, book is in really nice shape, clean with tight binding, would be Near Fine without stains. Jacket is unclipped ($3.95) with light moisture stain to very bottom edge of rear flap, bottom of same flap crease and associated bottom of rear panel - most visible from inside. Light wear overall with a few nicks and tiny chip to top of spine and a small stain to top of rear panel. Color still bright.
