Well preserved Standard English Classics edition from 1898. Binding intact; the only blemish is very slight stain on the front cover. Front matter includes detailed map "Lake George and Vicinity", an introduction and notes by John Dunbar, PhD, and Cooper's own introduction. After the original text are 19 pages of notes.

This very old edition has rose vine designs on the dove gray cover and spine. The back of the title page is blank (no copyright data or other information). Has some old water staining on the endpapers, and covers, but the text is clean.

Very Good condition, a volume of The English Churchman's Library. Author's Preface is dated Christmas Day, 1910. The front endpaper has, in pencil, "Property of Trinity Church School 1918".

Cloth bound in a lovely burgundy-dark brown, with an embossed circular logo on the front. The circle contains Dickens' face in profile, raised, and the name "Charles Dickens" above it.
