Published by Sampson Low, Marston & Co. Ltd., 1927 (Circa.). Hardback. Very Good. Illustrated by Tourtel, Mary. Slightly better than very good condition with no wrapper. Third title of six in the Rupert Little Bear series. Light brown decorative front board with large colour pictorial onlay. Brown cloth spine with black title. Plain endpapers. Rear board plain. Pages printed in red, blue or brown with one illustration to each page. Front cover edges slightly darkened and rubbed. Corners very slightly worn. Slight discolouration to rear board. Small faded spot at base of spine. Lengthy inscription in ink by original owner, dated April 12th 1928, describing a motor journey from Felixstowe to London where this book was purchased. Contents beautifully bright and clean. A lovely copy of this rare early Rupert book.
