Type-written text in a spiral notebook (approx. 8" by 10") with 147 hand-numbered pages, printed on one side only with 84 plates, some tipped in. (some are postcards, or illustrations from magazines and newspapers, some photogrpahs from book illustrations, and some reproductions from photographs by the author). Also includes some news-clipping glued in, as part of the page count. There is some loose material not included in the plate count. In his explanation at the beginning of the book. The author calls this notebook his thesis, but there is no date nor is an institution clearly named as the recipient of this thesis, nor is a degree named. The author does mention that some of the production work was done at "Cranbrook" and Ann Arbor.
